This coming summer I will be riding a bike from Portland, Maine to Santa Barbara, California with a non-profit organization called Bike and Build http://www.bikeandbuild.org/ . In a group of 28, we will be raising money and awareness for different affordable housing organizations across the country. We will be biking from one build site to the next, putting up twelve houses in a little over two months. The trip will encompass 3865 miles. Along the way I will be supporting affordable housing organizations by hosting town hall meetings, fundraising, and volunteering on construction sites where homes are being built for deserving families. 
Each rider is trying to raise $4500 by the start of the trip. All money goes to Bike and Build and the housing organizations we work with along the way. All donations are tax deductible, of course. If you have the means, I ask you to consider the difference a small donation can make in the lives of those struggling to find affordable housing. Any amount will help.
